1. Just got an HP ENVY with 1TB HARD Drive 8 gb ram i7 processor windows 8 2.2 ghz with 3.2 ghz with turbo boost will this be good to run traktor or serato on?

I wouldnt use serato with an s4 at all. It sounds like you just want to use it because that's what everyone else does, but i wouldn't worry much about that. I don't, and almost everyone in my area uses ssl with an occasional traktor or ableton dj. I would either: 1). Use the setup you have with traktor and your s4. Traktor Kontrol S2 Mk4 has an on-board pro-grade soundcard which negates the need for an external audio interface. This professional quality, built-in 24-bit/96 kHz DJ audio interface has two high-gain stereo outputs: Master and monitor. Other features of the Kontrol S4 include a 3-band EQ, Microphone input with gain control and mute button and front panel headphone controls.
